Spartak Moscow has already turned down all the offers that were being spreaded around involving their star forward Yura Movsisyan with interest from clubs of the Premier League and the Bundelisga.
The agent of Yura, Patrick McCabe stated that he has received offers for his client but none of them have been equal to what the club evaluates him.
‘’There have been offers but none have met the club’s valuation’’ Patrick said when he was asked about the future of Yura Movsisyan.
The 26 years old player went through a knee operation back in November that has seen him unable to play ever since then.
While Movsisyan will be staying for a few more seasons with Spartak Moscow, the same cannot be said for Aiden McGeady as he joined Everton on a permanent deal. The coach of Everton, Roberto Martinez was being linked with McGeady around 1 year ago and it wasn’t until now that the chance arrived for him to finally sign the winger.
“We were talking to Aiden and we agreed for him to come next season. But because of his situation in Spartak, obviously that he wasn’t going to be involved too much, and the situation with Nikica Jelavic, we were quite happy to make it happen now.
“I do feel the money we are going to spend will be well spent. In a matter of hours it fell into place. I was delighted to have Aiden at the end of the season but now it is a real boost to be able to work with him straight away. There is going to be a bit of an adaptation period because he hasn’t played in the last five or six weeks. That is going to give us a little bit of time.” Martinez said.
